Category 3 + quarantine

UK to New Zealand pet move kit

New Zealand treats the UK as Category 3: an identity check at least 6 months ahead, a titer window, a long list of dog tests, a permit and at least 10 days of quarantine. The rules are changing to a new standard, and this kit handles both.

Who it's for

  • Owners moving a dog or cat from the UK to New Zealand who want to prepare the steps themselves.
  • Anyone starting at least 6 to 7 months before shipment.
  • Owners caught between the 2021 and 2026 import health standards who need a clear plan for their date.

How the documents work together

Type your shipment and arrival dates in the workbook: it places the identity check and the primary vaccination at least 6 months ahead, keeps the titer sample between 3 and 12 months before shipment, fits each dog test and treatment in its window and shows the final exam within 2 days of shipment. The vet brief, checklist and letters follow the same steps.
